This website is now packed full of useful tips, hints and resources for Coaches of all ages. Of particular note is the section under "Game Development" where there is a host of information relating to coaching techniques and knowledge as well as some exmaples of practice plans for Junior Coaches (Rippa through to 5th Grade).
MYSTATPAC
MyStatPac – is a free in depth statistical tool exclusive to the Coaching Tool Box. Keep track
of team and player stats across a season or analyse player progress on a game by game basis.
MyStatPac is a tool that allows you to collate and display statistics for your team, players and games for a given season. Create your team, enter data after each game, and view your stats just like the professional teams do - regardless of the level you are coaching. Log in to the Coaching toolbox website then click on My CTB then on the left of the screen you will see the MyStatPac listing. Go to it and have a play – great for club teams. Coaching rugby is all about enjoyment, friendship, participation and the step-by-step development of both teams and individuals. Your contribution as a coach is vital to the continued growth of our game in the Thames Valley province and to ensure its long term future strength and wellbeing. To assist in your development as a coach, Thames Valley Rugby Football Union (TVRFU) offers a range of NZRU recognised coaching courses and modules which are facilitated by TVRFU staff and resource coaches. These courses are designed to meet the specific developmental needs of the players and coaches at each level of the game. All coaching resources used on each of the courses are supplied free of charge to those attending and completing the course and who coach within the Thames Valley province. The Coaching Practicum course is run each year during the Super Rugby competition. The nine-day residential course is in two parts and is aligned with the IRB Level 4 Game Planning course.
