The 8 teams that will contest the Thames Valley Secondary Schools 1A, 1B, Development and 4th Grade Divisions have been decided for this coming Saturday 20th August at the Paeroa Domain.

 

In the 1A Competition for the Coulter Cup, Hauraki Plains 1st XV will play Thames in what is sure to be an open game of rugby from 2 teams who like to give the ball some air. This game is the curtain raiser to the Swampfoxes Heartland game and kicks off at 12.15pm

 

The 1B championship for the newly created Allen Fisher Cup will be played out between Paeroa and Te Kauwhata and will kick off at 10.45am on Field 2.

 

In the Development Grade - Thames will face a strong challenge from Waihi who will be battled hardened after their tough clash in the semi-final with this game set to start on Field 1 at 10.30am.

 

The 4th grade competition sees top qualifiers Thames play Paeroa in another highly anticipated clash that is sure to go right down to the wire after the 13 - 12 scoreline last time these 2 teams met. This game is set to kick off on Field 2 at 9.30am.

 

Even if you don't have 'alliance' with any of these teams it would be fantastic to see a great crowd along to support the future of Thames Valley Rugby.
