The Secondary Schools 1st XV 'A' Competition takes a bit of a break for the next couple of weeks as Te Aroha, Waihi and the Hauraki Plains 1st XV are all overseas playing in the Gold Coast Tournament. The only game this weekend is Paeroa v Whangamata in the 1B Championship.

The Development grade continues to be a close run thing with Waihi pushing round 1 winners Thames all the way. The game between these 2 teams on the 6th August looks to be the decider of who finishes top in the second round.

The 4th Grade competition is also a close competition to find out who will host Semi-Finals with the top 4 teams only separated by 3 points.

 

REMEMBER -  20th August - Secondary Schools Finals Day - followed by the Swampfoxes vs Wanganui.
