On Tuesday 22nd March 2011 the Chiefs are coming to Paeroa Domain.
Thames Valley Rugby Football Union, in conjunction with the Chiefs have organized both a training session at Paeroa Domain as well as a Hero’s Day for selected 9-12 year olds from local schools.
“After the recent successful Trophy Tour, and now this, Thames Valley rugby enthusiasts must be excited. We could not get a pre season game here, but this is the next best thing” said CEO Geoff Sanders.
Starting at 10.00am, the Chiefs will have a full training session ahead of their upcoming game against the Blues. A lunch break will follow from around noon to 1.00pm, then 75 lucky 9-12 year olds will be taken through skill drills with the Chiefs.
“It was not easy selecting the schools to participate, but given our strengthening relationship with the Chiefs, they will be back here next year and those schools that missed out this year will get their turn in 2012” Mr Sanders added.
Everybody is welcome to come along and watch the Chiefs on Tuesday, so don’t miss this oportunity. |
